Policies, terms and
conditions of bulb sales TERMS: CS LIGHTING extends Net 30 Days with prior credit approval. Interest of 1.5% per month will be charged on all invoices over 30 days in arrears. WARRANTY: All products sold by CS LIGHTING are guaranteed to be free from defects in both materials and workmanship. All manufacturers guarantees apply. Any damaged goods must be returned to CS LIGHTING in order to have replacement or credit applied. Items must be intact (glass not broken). PRICES: Catalog prices are subject to change without notice. For quantities less than the stated minimums, a 20% increase will be added. SPECIAL ORDERS: Certain special orders may require a down payment in advance. With the return of special orders, the customer will incur restocking and shipping charges. PERISHABLE GOODS: Batteries are a perishable product with a shelf-life. Therefore, we cannot accept returns of batteries after 30 days. RETURNS: Materials should not be returned to CS LIGHTING for credit unless authorized with a written RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION from CS LIGHTING Sales Department. SHIPPING CHARGES: We deliver with our own trucks in the Greater Richmond Area. Outside Richmond, actual shipping charges will be added to orders. For orders less than $25.00, a $5.00 handling fee will be added. SHIPPING POLICY: Transportation companies assume all liability from the time a shipment is received by them until the time it is delivered to the customer. Our liability ceases at the time of shipment. OUR PLEDGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS: We represent the best quality products. We continually seek out new products on the market, evaluate them and inform our customers of these new items. If there is an item that you are interested in, and do not see it in our catalog, please call and we will assist you in finding that product at the lowest price available. Policies, terms and
conditions of lamp sales No Risk Sample: Try an FLT lamp for 45 days and compare it to any other lamp you may be considering. Note the heavy duty construction and other features. Call CS LIGHTING Toll Free at (800) 277-2852 with your sample order. We will rush it to you. At the end of 45 days, you may either return it or send your payment. It's that easy to try the best. Modifications: On orders of 50 or more lamps, we can modify existing models to meet your specific needs at a minimal cost to you. Lamps may be ordered without brass trim or with powder coated trim in the same or a different color. Lampshades may also be changed. Allow 60 to 90 days lead time for special orders. 50% deposit required for custom orders. Cancellation Policy: No order can be cancelled once the order is placed in production. Credit: We require a completed credit application and a one-third deposit. The remainder is due 30 from the ship date. Accounts that are not rated by Dun and Bradstreet require a one-third deposit with the remainder due on delivery. Because motor carriers chargea substantial COD collection fee and do not give discounts on freight bills involving COD, we recommend that you either send a check in full with the order, or if the order is large, one-third deposit and the balance when the order is ready to ship. All orders are subject to factory approval. Freight: Unless you specify the carrier, our traffic department will use its discretion to assign a carrier to ship your order. All orders shipped prepaid and add to the invoice. FOB Richmond, VA. Claims: All claims must be made with the carrier immediately upon receipt of merchandise. No returns accepted without our written permission. Transit claims (concealed or otherwise) for damage or shortage must be filed by consignee directly with the carrier. We are not responsible for damage in transit, but we will assist with your claim. United Parcel Service: If merchandise is received in damaged condition (concealed or otherwise), report that damage to UPS and CS LIGHTING at once. Retain the carton and merchandise until United Parcel picks it up or advises disposition. We will file the claim, and send you a replacement. If this procedure is not followed, UPS will not honor the claim. Service Charge: A $10.00 service charge will be added to all orders totalling less than $250.00. Prices: Due to revaluation and unstable conditions of the dollar, prices, availability and specifications are subject to change without notice. We accept all major credit cards |
